For a cause: Drop Poems Not Bombs

Recently I was asked to participate in a project titled, Drop Poems Not Bombs - created by the award winning writer, speaker and performer, Ari Honarvar. In this project, Ari gathered artists and musicians from around the United States and Iran; having each person compose a short 1-minute piece of music singing/reciting a verse from a Rumi poem. Here is the verse I was assigned:

(In Persian)

Ma raa gooeee kojaayee man che daanam man che daanam man che daanam

Chonin majnoon cheraayee man che daanam man che daanam man che daanam

You ask, where are you?

I do not know I do not know I do not know

Why have you gone mad?

I do not know I do not know I do not know
